I am a semi-retired Baptist minister and have being researching the various branches of my family since 1980.
I have discovered roots in England (Suffolk, Yorkshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Surrey, Middlesex (London), Hertfordshire) and in Ireland (Co. Wicklow, Co. Wexford, Cork City, Co. Kerry). I have UEL roots from New Jersey, coming to Canada in 1787 (my mother's side) and from Suffolk to Guelph area of Ontario, Canada, in 1836.
