Hi Peggy so far so good I have had 2 super break throughs one on my heritage and one here on wiki which has been fantastic after years of not a brick wall but a solid concrete bunker. I don't have to much time at the moment but will certainly keep digging. Best Regards Pat

Hi Pat,

As you have been a member of WikiTree for a while now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.

Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions? Let me know if you need any tips to help you get more of your family members added.

Thanks for your contributions so far. Please do return to the profiles you create to add more biographical details and sources -- this is the best way to create an interesting, accurate, and well-rounded story of your family. The easiest way to find info and sources is to use the handy RootsSearch link on the right side of any profile. Learn more about sources here. Also, birth and death locations are really important pieces of info to add (even if only the state or country). Click "uncertain" if you are unsure of the exact location.

You may be interested in checking out the resources of the England project. The England project has an excellent self-paced course called the Orphan Trail that provides valuable tips on finding sources and formatting English profiles. You could also check out the Ireland and South Africa projects or you can find other projects that suit other areas of your research.

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. To contact me, log into WikiTree and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment so that I will be notified. Alternatively, you can click my name to visit my profile, where you can send a private message, or post a comment on my profile page.

Congratulations Pat !!

You are now a Family Member! I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do, as it is a lot of fun and there are tons of great people collaborating.

We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration. Don't be afraid to ask questions in our G2G forum and get involved as much or as little as works for you. Be sure to check out the tabs at the very top right hand side of your profile, there is lots to discover!

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

You mentioned that you don’t know much about your family tree yet. I assume you are new to genealogy. No problem! Every genealogist is a beginner at some point.

Take your time, keep track of sources and ask questions. Check here for tips.

Happy tree climbing!
