Henry Birchfield Axtell 16 March 1836 – 25 February 1863

Henry Birchfield Axtell was born in Rush County, Indiana on March 16th, 1836. [1] He was the son of Mr. Daniel Axtell of Mercer County, Pennsylvania and the former Mary Grace.

Marriage; 8 Mar 1860 Tipton, Tipton County, Indiana, Harriet A. (Lewis). [2] Widow, Harriet A. (Lewis) Axtell, Pension Application: #48744 18 April 1863. Certificate #61243. [3]

Died of chronic diarrhea, at Youngs Point, La, Feb. 25, 1863.
