Saturday 29 June 1850 DIED, at Graham s Town, on Saturday, the 22d instant, Mr. William ATTWELL, Commissariatt store-keeper, aged 53 years. Deceased, who was a British Settler of 1820, had served in the Commissariat on this Frontier for 28 years, longer, it is believed, than any other officer here in that department. During that extendedperiod he maintained a character of unblemished integrity, and was justly respected for the unobtrusive, but faithful discharge of the duties of his office. He has left an aged father, a widow, and a family of children to deplore their irreparable loss.
