Biography
Emily was Māori
Emma was born in 1859. She was the daughter of James Armitage.
She passed away on 24 Mar, 1947, aged 87 years.[1] Her funeral was held on 25 Mar, 1947,[2] and she was interred in Gore Hill Cemetery at St Leonard's, New South Wales, Australia.[3]
Research Notes
Nb: Husband is James Clegg - Taylor died 1905 - a Find A Grave claims born 1824 yet a passenger list in 1903 has a James Clegg Taylor born abt 1842 but he is with a 42 yr old Eliza (error as the son with them has Emily on his military record), 9 yr old Jack and 6[4][5] yr old Oliver.[6]
