Helen was born in 1907 in the Paddington district.[2]
Helen 'Betty' Archdale was the captain of the english womens test cricket team for the first ever womens test match played in Brisbane, Australia in 1934.
In the 1939 register Helen, age 32, was a Barrister At Law and volunteer for the WRNS. She was single and living with her mother at Stilestone, Crouch, Malling, Kent.[3]
She passed away in January 2000. [4]
