Based on son Charles's 1880 census entry, Mary came from Prussia[1]
1896 Death: Died intestate on 14 December 1896, buried 15 Dec 1896; 'Pfau Homestead', administrator son-in-law August J Staub; wife Mary Antonio Staub preceded Phillip on 20 Sep 1893, buried on 21 Sep 1893; 4 children named: Charles Pfau, Emma P. Staub, Phillip J. Pfau, Minnie Bauerlin (all residing Mobile, Alabama except Minni whose whereabouts are unknown); property originaly purchased by Phillip Pfau from William A. Dawson in 1862.[2]
