Biography

Daniel was born in December 1922 near Jansen, Saskatchewan. He was the son of Samuel Anders and Olga Elke who were farmers. In 1944 he married Leona Sawatsky and had four children. They farmed at Jansen before moving to the Okanagan Valley where he worked as a bartender. They divorced and he married Edna Gates on 8 October 1978. He was a bartender in Prince George for twenty-six years before retiring in 1980. Dan passed away in Prince George in August 1988 and was buried in Prince George Municipal Cemetery, Prince George.
