Corporal Amiot was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on April 1, 1952 and died of those wounds later that day.

Death and Burial

Marvin died on 1 April 1952 in North Korea. He was classified as DOW (Died of Wounds) on the government papers.
