Emily Adkins was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.
Emily was born October 11, 1911. She was the daughter of Reverend S. A. Adkins and Betty Baird.[1] In the 1920 census Emily (age 8) was the daughter of Sanuris A Adkins in Civil District 1, Scott, Tennessee.[2][3] In the 1930 census Emily (age 18) was the single daughter of Seniors Adkins on Huntsville Road, District 1, Scott County, Tennessee, United States.[4][5]
Emily Adkins married Loya Adkins in 1933. In the 1950 census Emily (age 38) was the wife of Loya W Atkins in Scott, Tennessee, United States.[6]
Emily Adkins died on 22 January 1973 at Daniel Drake Memorial Hospital in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.[7][8] She was buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Montgomery, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States with a death date of 1973.[9]
