Andō Momoko was born in Tōkyō-to on 19 March 1982, the daughter of Andō Toyoaki (Okuda Eiji) and Ogino Kazuko. She is a film director, screenwriter and novelist, known for writing and directing 0.5 mm, a 2014 Japanese film based on her own novel of the same name which she published in 2011.
