Takehiko Bessho (別所 毅彦) was a Japanese baseball player.
His birth name was Akira Bessho (別所昭). He was raised solely by his mother.
He began his professional baseball career around 1942. He played for the Nankai Hawks and the Yomiuri Giants.
After he stopped playing baseball (around 1960), he became a baseball coach and later a manager. After leaving baseball entirely, he was a sports broadcaster.
