Biography

Matthys Petrus Hendrik was born about 1868. He is the son of Gerhardus Johannes Zondagh and Salomina Gertina Heyns. When he married in 1894 he was living at Welgelegen. He died in Uniondale but usually lived at Welgelegen. He was buried in the DRC Cemetery in Uniondale.

Baptised on 12 March 1871 at Uniondale DRC. Witnesses were Matthys Petrus Hendrik Zondagh, Christina Susanna Zondagh (b. Rademeyer).
