Biography
Fact: Also Known As Peter
Fact: Burial (April 1821) Salem REformed Church Cemetery, Clear Creek Twp, Warren, Ohio, United States
Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Peter Sellers was the first of Heinrich's sns to acquire land in the Shenandoah Valley, patenting 90 acres next to his father's land on 13 June 1755. He purchased 123 acres from his father 17 August 1765 and patented another 183 acres 5 July 1774. In 1791 a "Peter Sellers" purchased land west of Peaked Mountain, but it is not clear from the records as to which Peter it was.
Like his brothers John and Adam, Peter furnished livestock and food to the American forces from 1780 to 1782. He received payment for all three years' provisions in November, 1783.
