Birth
Dess was born in July 1881 to Thomas Benton Zeller and Louisa Weaver.
Marriage
Dess Zeller married DeForrest Lyle Rathbone on 28 May 1901.[1] This marriage ended at some point between the 1920 census[2] and 1922 as DeForrest would remarry Elizabeth McGee of Ireland.[3]

According to the 1920 census, Dess had 3 children with DeForrest.[4]
