Barbara Zapp was born on 26 October 1824^[1] to John Zapp and unknown mother in New York City, New York.^[2][3][4]

Barbara married Frederick Vordermeier in New York.^[2][3]

Barbara becomes a widow and single mother around 1890 when Frederick dies.^[4]

Barbara died on 5 January 1911 at the age of 68 in the Bronx, New York and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York.^[5][6]
