Biography

The son of William Young and Eva (Bothell) Young, Wilfred was born in Bothell, Washington in 1901. He fought during World War I from March 2, 1920 through March 1, 1923.^[1] He married Edith Florence Lee in Mount Vernon, Washington on August 7, 1926.^[2] They made their home in Blaine, Washington, where Delmar worked as a patrolman for U.S. Immigration Services.^[3] They later moved to Lynden, in Whatcom County, where Delmar had the same job.^[4] There were no living children born to the marriage. Delmar passed away at the age of 92, residing in Whatcom County,^[5][6] and is buried at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, Washington.^[7]
