I am trying to get a full picture of my family tree for my daughter and grand and great grand children's future. It is an interesting venture and something that my grandmother, mother and I have done together over the years. I come from a very large family line with many, many branches but none are complete yet. I have so many hobbies and interests that keep me busy. I have done some traveling around the US, got to visit friends in Canada and Hawaii. Would still love to travel abroad and see where my ancestors come from. Nothing like getting the feel of the land and customs, etc., etc..

Went to California when I turned 18 as a present from my grandmother who lived there at the time. I loved it there and so got a job, met new friends and stayed for over a year. One of my friends came back home with me and was adopted by my mother. She didn't like the cold winter so went back to Calif., but we stayed friends until her passing (who is greatly missed by me). When I make friends I make them for life.

I met my first husband in Hawaii, fell in love and had a Hawaiian wedding and a Texas honeymoon where he was from. Loved Texas and my daughter was born there. Unfortunately the marriage didn't last, but my daughter did and has been the light of my life. She has blessed me with 4 grandchildren and the oldest (grandson) has just blessed me with a great-granddaughter. Sure makes me a happy camper.

My second grandson died in a head on car accident on his way to his summer job before starting college. My granddaughter is in the US Airforce and says she loves it. My youngest grandson is only 10 and so is still in school learning all the things he will need to make it through life. My daughter is a nurse and is still going to school to further her education and working full time and taking care of her house and the kids.

Well I guess that about sums it up for now. My whole family is very colorful and has many stories to pass on to their children and their children's children.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and hope it didn't put you to sleep.

Thanks again, Barbara J (Young) Wagner, aka Flanagan
