Reggie was in a band called Eddie Bond and the Stompers in the late 1950s. They had some hits including "Rockin' Daddy" in 1956. They toured with Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Johnny Horton.
Reggie was in a band which opened for the Beatles 1964 tour of the USA
After decades of session work, Reggie again toured in the 1990s with country supergroup The Highwaymen (Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson & Johnny Cash.) Here he does the signature guitar solo on Folsom Prison Blues with the Highwaymen
