Hi everyone, I have registered and been researching my family for 15 plus years and need to sit down and treat this as a new family tree.As I am going round in circles a bit and have info on some members I am 90% on but not confident in putting in. Plus chat to like minded folk ( fellow detectives) anyway got to go and earn a crust now ,so will start loading info and add my dna kit number. Cheers Russ

Biography

The biography for Russell Yapp is empty. What can you add?

I am not related to any Yapp family. My step Grandfather John (Jack) William was from Newtown born abt 1899, a cabinet maker and worked for Cunnard and refited the Queen Mary after WW2. In WW1 he served in the Welsh Fusiliers when he was 16 lied about his age as a message runner. he fought at Ypres. He was married before meeting my Nan and had a son Trevor. He was a brilliant Gardener always remember harvesting potatoes and goodies.
