Biography
Olive was born in 1916 in New Zealand. She was the daughter of Harvey (or Harry) Vernon Wyatt, and Amy Louisa Frampton Meech. [1]
In 1939 she married Fred Olds. [2]
On 12 August 1944, she attended a dance. Afterwards, she was being driven home by Bert Tull on a motorcycle, along Coldstream Rd, Waikuku. Not far from home, the motorcycle was struck by a car with no lights and driving on the wrong side of the road. Olive sustained head injuries and passed away at Christchurch Hospital on the 17th. [3] She is buried at Ruru Lawn Cemetery, Christchurch. [4]
