Martha Ellen Wyatt b. 10 May 1858, Marshall Co, KY d/o George W. Wyatt b. 1826 KY d. 1890 and Malissa Jane Baker b. 1830 KY d. 1866.[1][2]
Martha m. 29 Mar 1877 Marshall Co, KY George W. Lemon b. 1852 d. 1948. She had the consent of her father in person. The ceremony was celebrated by James Burnham M.G. (Minister of the Gospel).[3][4]
On 05 July 1880, George and Martha (22) lived in Briensburg, Marshall County, Kentucky with their son Elbert W. (1) who was born in Kentucky. George was farming and she was keeping house.[5]
On 13 Jun 1900, George and Martha (42) lived in Briensburg,, Marshall County, Kentucky with their children: Elbert W. (b. Jul 1879, 20), Nina (b. Jul 1881, female, 18), Hattie C. (b. 1886, female, 15), Florence H. (b. Oct 1891 female, 8), and Mae (b. Nov 1894, 5). All children were born in Kentucky. George was a farmer and Elbert was a farm laborer. Nina and Hattie were doing house work. Hattie, Florence and Mae attended 6 months of school. All could read, write and speak english. George and Martha owned the farm but it was mortgaged at the time.[6]

George was a farmer, Martha and Mae didn't list an occupation. They owned the farm free and clear. George L Wyatt (45) and his family lived nearby - maybe he was Martha's brother?[7]

On 18 Apr 1930, they lived at 163 Jefferson Davis Highway, Magisterial District 2, Marshall County, Kentucky. George was still farming and Martha was keeping home at the time.[9]
On 18 Apr 1936, it was reported that Mrs. George W. Lemon was critically ill.[10]
Martha d. 27 Apr 1939 Riverside Hospital, Paducah, McCracken Co, KY of pneumonia and other causes bur. 29 Apr 1939 Maplelawn Park Cemetery, Paducah, KY. Mae Lemon Treas of Paducah, KY was the informant.[11][1][2]
Mrs. George W. Lemon Succumbs At Riverside --- Mrs. George W. Lemon, 81, native of Marshall county and resident of Paducah for the past year, died at Riverside hospital at 6 p. m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Saturday at Roth chapel with Rev. J. T. Bagby and Rev. John B. Horton officiating. Mrs. Lemon, whose residence was in the Ellis apartments, was a member of the Methodist church. She is survived by her husband, a son, E. W. Lemon, Detroit; four daughters, Mrs. L. F. Hardeman, Memphis, Mrs. W. M. Lacker of Benton, Mrs. Clint Mathis and Mrs. Mae Lemon Treas of Paducah; two brothers, J. B. and G. L. Wyatt, both of Marshall county, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Roth chapel. Pallbearers will be: E. L. Yarnell, Robert D. Brown, Ewing Gilson, Dr. Henry Tatter, W. L. Young and Judge W. A. Middleton.[12]
