Biography

John Wright was born in St Pancras, Middlesex, England.

John was born in Pancras, Middlesex, to John and Ann in about 1814. ^[1] The information that John was an ironmonger comes from Matilda's baptism. There is no sign of him on any of the censuses. His marriage to Harriet was witnessed by Mary Elizabeth Wright, where John is referred to as John Wright the Younger. There was a baptism of Mary Elizabeth Wright to parents John and Mary in 1784 in Pancras - I suspect this may be John's father's sister. ^[2]

In 1837 John married Harriet Louisa Elizabeth Elcom Heath in St Pancras. ^[3]

John died from Phthisis Pulmonatis, (pulmonary TB) in 1849 aged 35. ^[4]
