Emily was born in 1846 in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire.
Marriage
Edwin Mark Saunders and Emily Wren were married after banns in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire on 5th August 1876[1]. They were bachelor and spinster and both of full age. Edwin was a farmer living in Freeland and the son of Mark Saunders who was also a farmer. Emily was a schoolmistress living in Wolvercote and the daughter of Thomas Wren who was a wheelwright. The witnesses to the marriage were Thomas Wren, Thomas Wren Jnr, Martha S Wren, and Ellen Hinton[2].
