Celia was born in 1849. She was the daughter of John Wray and Celia Plumpton.

Western Australia - The Wray family travelled to the Swan River Colony on board the ship Clara arriving on 3 September 1853.
The ”Clara” carried a human cargo of 48 married couples with their children numbering 101 and 124 single females. [1][2] [3]
Celia married William Henry Thomas in Albany in 1874. [4] William was born in Albany in 1847/8 [5], his parents arrived on board the Sterling in 1833 and settled in Albany. William was a pastry cook and baker.
Celia and William had 9 children in Albany.
Celia passed away on 3 April 1897 in Albany. [6]
DEATH. THOMAS.— On the 3rd April at her residence, Parade-st., Albany, Celia, the beloved wife of W. H. Thomas and second daughter of the late Mr. J. Wray, of Albany. [7]
Celia is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery on Albany. [8]
