1701 Death
He died 9 April 1701 in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Maryland and was originally buried on his plantation "Pendennis."[7] His remains and grave marker were later removed to the churchyard of St Anne's in Annapolis, Maryland, where they remain today.[1]
The inscription on the tombstone reads:

WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE

He married Helen Heath Hammond 12 MAR 1712/13 in Baltimore Co., MD, daughter of Thomas Hammond and Mary Heath. She was born ABT 1695 in Anne Arundel, MD, and died BEF 1728. He married Comfort Hammond 1728, daughter of John Hammond and Anne Greenberry. She was born 15 AUG 1701 in St. Margaret's Parish, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, and died MAR 1741/42.[8]
Thomas Howard Worthington was born 8 JAN 1690/91 in Westminster Parish, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland,[2] and died 3 APR 1753 in Anne Arundel County, MD. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Ridgely 23 JUL 1711 in St. Margaret's, Westminster Parish, Anne Arundel Co., Md, daughter of Henry Ridgely , Jr and Katherine Greenberry. She was born BET 1690 AND 1695 in Anne Arundel County, MD, and died 18 DEC 1734.[9]
William Worthington was born 16 APR 1694 in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland,[2] and died 22 NOV 1770 in Will proved Anne Arundel Co., Maryland. He married Sarah Homewood 5 NOV 1715. She was born 20 JAN 1700/01.[10]
Sarah Worthington was born 10 JAN 1695/96 in Anne Arundel, MD,[2] and died 16 MAR 1720/21. She married Nicholas Ridgely , Judge 26 DEC 1711 in Anne Arundel, son of Henry Ridgely , Jr and Katherine Greenberry. He was born 12 FEB 1693/94 in 'Wardridge', Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, and died 16 FEB 1755 in Eden Hill, Dover, Delaware.[11]
Charles Worthington was born 20 DEC 1701 in St. Margarets, Westminster, Maryland, Anne Arundel,[2] and died 24 MAR 1774 in Anne Arundel County, MD. He married Hanutel Hammond 12 NOV 1728, daughter of Charles Hammond and Hannah Howard. She was born ABT 1707. He married Sarah Chew 5 OCT 1732 in Maryland, daughter of John Chew and Elizabeth Harrison. She was born 1708 in Herring Bay, Calvert County, Maryland, and died 1772 in Anne Arundel County, MD.[12]
