My paternal grandfather (Worthey) had a small general store in Capshaw, Limestone County, Alabama United States. He married Goldie Pepper from Athens, Limestone County, Alabama United States. They raised five children.
My maternal grandfather (Garner) was from Lawrence County Alabama, United States. He had a small farm, and married Bertha Shelton also from Lawrence County. They moved to Decatur, Morgan County where she worked at a factory and he built houses, and did carpentry work. They raised three children.
I married a Smith from the Smith's and Terry's of Lawrence County. Interested in finding American Indian information from Lawrence County.
I have traced some family to England, Ireland, Germany and France through information from various sources, not necessarily cited. Interested in locations, pictures, occupations, and general life stories.
