Lotus 1829 |
The Woods family arrived in the Swan River Colony on the vessel Lotus on 23 October 1829 as indentured servant to Col Latour. William, his wife, children and bother in law George Charman came with him. [1]
Jane Woods married William Strickland on 9 March 1843 at Fremantle, Western Australia.
Children
She went to Adelaide 6/1/1849 with her husband & child and sister.
In 1880 she married John Williams in Kapunda South Australia.
She died age 67 at her son Edward's home after a long and painful illness. Her name was listed as Jane Williams relict of John Williams of Kapunda so she must have remarried at some time. She is buried in Eudunda Cemetery.
Jane was born about 1824. She passed away about 1875.
