Sarah Wood (married name Higham) was born about 1828, daughter of Mary (Hardy) Wood and Jonathan Wood.

She was married to James Higham. Their children were:

• Mary Higham (1858?–1927)^[1]
• J. W. Higham

Sarah died on 28 January 1897 in Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia, aged 69 years.^[2][3]
