Biography
John was born perhaps between 1800 and 1805. His place of birth is reported as either Marple or Malpas, depending on the census. He married Ann Siddall in 1833 in Manchester.[1] They were the parents of 7 children:
- i. Mary Wood (about 1833 - after 1871)
- ii. Elizabeth Wood (about 1836 - after 1880)
- iii. John Wood (about 1840 - between 1901 and 1911)
- iv. Thomas Wood (1845 - 1923)
- v. William Wood (about 1846 - after 1861)
- vi. George Wood (about 1849 - after 1871)
- vii. Martha Wood (about 1850 - after 1871)
John passed away in 1880.
