In the 1911 census Edward (age 26, Engineer) was living in his father's household in Dunscar House, Dunscar Nr Bolton, Turton, Lancashire, England.^[3]

Edward (age 29), son of Edward Hall Wood & Nellie Appleton, married Dora Allen (age 38) on 4 May 1914 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.^[4]
