Thank you for your contributions to the March 2022 Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
We have been unable to deliver email to you so we changed your email settings to reduce the number of messages we send. If we can't reach you soon your account will need to be closed.
HI, sorry but this is the first time I have noticed a message here! my bad! my email is still [email address removed] but also (more often) use [email address removed]
Hope that I can still sign in and out with out trouble as I am on 'a roll'. Presently sorting out 300 Adam Seip!!!! goodness! what a tangled mess...having to develop a spreadsheet just for 1 name and just in Ontario! Well, back to it.
I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have yet to hear back from you. I hope you are well.
If I dont hear from you in the next week or so Ill assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.
My name is Sarah and I’m the new Project Leader for The Native Americans Project. This is your project check-in letter. I would love to hear back from you about your current Native American research interests and project related activity.
On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your followed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any discussions in G2G.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hardwork. If you have any questions please ask. I would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project!
Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Thanks for all the work you accomplished during our Connect-A-Thon 2020. It is amazing how many more profiles were created and added to our Shared Tree over the weekend. We are proud of your efforts.
Don't hit the Status button for this event. You will automatically get a point for every family member you add to an existing profile. Let me know if you still have problems!
Thank you so much for responding to our check-in. We are delighted that you wish to continue contributing to the Canada project. Below is a quick checklist for active members. The project leaders would like you to make sure you have done the following:
1) Checked the Project Page for ways to contribute
2) Added CANADA to the tags you follow.
3) PM the project leaders with your email address to be added to the Google Group
4) Bookmarked the Activity Feed to monitor the project watchlist
It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Canada and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.
We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.
If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.
I am very sorry but this is the first time that I have ever scrolled down my own page and found messages!!! lots of them. I am very sorry.
I tend to stick to Canada as that is where I am located and almost all of my family back many generations. I sometimes dabble in an other country only as I add a branch that immigrated from that country but tend to add perhaps that source but go no further in those countries. I have added a bio in famous Canadians but mostly paddle along adding people and sources as the branches spring out...just sorting, adding, updating local Mennonite families is/can be a full time job.
On behalf of the Canada Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active in the Canada project. If you are active, please let us know in which ways you are currently contributing to the project.
All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Janet ~ Volunteer Coordinator
P.S.
If you joined the project only to show your connection to an ancestor, please consider using a Canada Stickers on your profile instead of the project badge
Greg Lavoie, Dave Rutherford and I have put a lot of work into restructuring the Canada Project. Have a look at the new project page.
You'll see that we've changed the project name to the Canada Project and the badge will be changed shortly. We've done this in order to provide lots of ways for people to contribute to Canadian Profiles. We've also moved towards a team approach with top level teams being lead by Project Coordinators and sub-teams being lead by Team Leaders.
Would you like to continue in the Canada Project, and if so, which team(s) would you like to be on?
Let me know if you have any questions. Once I hear back from you I'll add you to the Google group and get you set up in your team(s).
