In the 6 Jun 1841 Census Eliza was living at Whitfield Street, Manchester, Chorlton, Lancashire ^[5]

Eliza's first husband Thomas died 6 Dec 1841

Eliza married her second husband William Clegg before 30 Apr 1843 as their first child Alimath was baptised on that date

Eliza and William had a son Alimath Clegg before 30 Apr 1843 in Smedley, Lancashire as he was baptised on that date. The entry shows that Eliza and William were living in Smedley, Lancashire and William was a Dyer. The ceremony was performed by J Wilson. ^[6]

Research Notes

The records that are attached for Alinoth Bustard (abt.1843-) and Alemeth Clegg (abt.1844-) need merging as they are the same person, and the surname should be Clegg (Thomas Bustard had died before Alenath or Alinoth was conceived.

The same applies to Mary Clegg (abt.1846-) and Mary Bustard (abt.1847-) Mary Clegg was born to Eliza and William Clegg.
