I am one of the Warden descendants who has inherited many, many photographs of the Wardens and their families. I am keen to get in touch with anyone who has photographs they cannot identify and who might also be able to help identify some of mine. I also have a facebook page for "Family history of Major Henry Douglas Warden" which is also a way to contact me. There are a couple of Warden descendants who are keeping in touch with each other and trying to help each other "fill in the gaps" . I would love to hear from you. I also have some pictures that where taken in Durban by the photographer Kirsch. Using the knowledge about that photographer, I can date the one photograph to between 1884-1887 (well dressed, mature lady, sitting, dressed in black" and the other (Head and shoulders of a young man with moustache and suit" to between 1877-1899. These might ring a bell for you. I have tons of other photographs of other Wardens and their families.
Kind regards
Colleen Hart (nee Edgecombe)
