Lady Elizabeth (Winter) Morgan died in January 1638 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.[2] Her husband re-married to Bridget Morgan, widow of Anthony Morgan of Llanfihangael Crucorney, and daughter of Anthony Morgan of Heyford Northamptonshire, England. [3] Sir William Morgan was a friend and loyal supporter of King Charles I, even during the English Civil War. He died in 1653 at 93 years old at Bristol, Gloucestershire, England. [4]

Elizabeth Wynter, spouse of William Morgan (of Tredegar) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.[5]Morgan married firstly Elizabeth Wynter daughter of Sir William Wynter of Lydney Gloucestershire. He married secondly Bridget Morgan widow of Anthony Morgan of Llanfihangael Crucorney and daughter of Anthony Morgan of Heyford Northamptonshire. They had several children: Thomas was later MP for Monmouthshire. Anthony was later a Royalist officer in the Civil War. John married Rebecca Smith. His daughter Frances was the first wife of Charles Williams of Llangiby. William Morgan born Llandaff/Rumney 1610.

In the will of her father made on 01 Feb 1588/1589[6] she was bequeathed £1200 and appears to have been unmarried.

In the will of her grandmother, Lady Judde, the will made on 20 Feb 1596/1597 and proved on 19 Feb 1601/1602[7], the Testatrix made a bequest to her 'daughter Morgan'. It is unclear if the daughter Morgan referred to in the will is this Elizabeth (Winter) Morgan or her aunt Elizabeth (Langton) Morgan.

Wynter-34 and Winter-211 appear to represent the same person because: Merge duplicate. Merge into Winter (which is the spelling in the source) Use dates in -211 which are more appropriate for this husband. Wynter was attached to wrong husband with wrong dates.

You have her married to the wrong William. See [https://archive.org/stream/historyoffamilyo00morg#page/15/mode/2up History of the family of morgan p. 15. She should be married to Sir William of Tredegar. William of Tredegar and Elizabeth Winter were not the parents of James Morgan (d. 1685)

Winrter-1 and Winter-211 do not represent the same person because: The two William Morgans, spouses of Elizabeth Winter (Winrter) are 20 years apart in birth and have different fathers.

Winrter-1 and Winter-211 appear to represent the same person because: these two should be merged, but the first profile should be spelled Winter.

Winter-1541 and Winter-211 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these are two of three records for Elizabeth Winter Morgan. If you agree and accept the merge, I can create a second merge request to merge the third record so her profile is clean and straightened out.

Thank-you
