Helen was born on 22 January 1854 in Illinois, United States. She was the daughter of William M Evans and Susanna Shelton Easley.[1]

In the 1870 census Helen (age 16) was living in Township 2 Range 2, Marion, Illinois, United States.[1]

In the 1900 census Helen (age 46) was living in Tonti Township, Marion, Illinois.[2]

In the 1910 census Helen (age 56) was living in Tonti, Marion, Illinois.[3]
