Biography

James was born in 1800. He is the son of Samuel Wilson and Priscilla Purinton.

James married Elizabeth McGraw d/o mother & father @ Boothbay by John Merrill, Esquire^[1]

His 2 children James Madison Wilson & Rachel Wilson died as children. James died serving in the civil war under Capt John Wilson Jr's company of Merrill's 3rd regiment of the Massachusetts militia. His date of death is listed as Oct 17, 1880. His headstone was shipped 23 Feb 1832 to the Riverview Cemetery in Topsham, Maine.
