In Memoriam: Jackson Wilson was an active and generous member of WikiTree. Their presence in our community will be missed. However, their many contributions will live on as part of our shared family tree. This is a gift they gave to family members, distant cousins, and future generations, and is now a permanent part of their legacy.
Biography
CHESTER, W.Va. - Jackson Edward Wilson, 22, of 99 Melody Lane (Johnsonville Rd) Chester, W.Va, passed away Thursday July 16, 2015, at UPMC McCandless Pittsburgh, Pa. following a lengthy battle with Ewing Sarcoma.
Jackson was born April 19, 1993, at Beaver Medical Center. He was the son of David and Janice (Capehart) Wilson. He was a graduate of Oak Glen High School 2011.
Preceeding Jackson in death were his maternal grandparents-Charles and Carolyn Capehart; paternal Grandfather Jackson Wilson.
Jackson is survived by his parents; sister Emily Wilson at home; paternal Grandmother Shirley Richards; maternal Aunts Cathy (Rick) Hudson, Sandy Huff; Paternal Aunts Jill (Frank) Hanselman, Sara Gott and Uncle Greg Richards. Jackson is also survived by seven cousins and many great Aunts and Uncles. And his beloved cat, Tyger.
Jackson was an old soul that tried to change and preserve the world. In high school he started a recycling program and played saxophone in the band. He spent years in 4H, which he loved, ending that time as Chief of Seneca Tribe. Jackson volunteered many hours at Fox's Nursing Home, Genealogy room- he felt preserving our history was very important. He was a member of Chester Lions Club, administered many Facebook pages for different things that he found close to his heart. Jackson decided to take Historic Preservation at Shepherd University. He wanted to make sure that cemeteries were preserved and the records that told our life stories. He was loved by many. He was an 'Old Soul' that didn't care for some of the new technologies that he felt we did not need. Jackson had a way to touch people in a way that made him unforgettable. He will be missed by many.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday July 17, 2015, from 1-8 p.m. at Arner Funeral Chapel. Services will be Saturday July 18, 2015, at 11a.m. with viewing at 10 a.m. Services will be handled by his cousin, Nicole Morgan. Burial will be at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.

I see you completed a merge for Lively-124.
Once you have finished a merge, it is important to consolidate the information from the two biographies, which after the merge are just pasted together, one after the other.
Let me know if you would like help learning how to do this.

I'm a WikiTree mentor and I noticed that you rejected a merge a member had proposed between her own new profile and a pre-existing one.
It's important to understand that rejecting a merge really means that you are rejecting a match, i.e. you are identifying two profiles as clearly representing two different people, so they won't be identified as possible matches in future searches. If there is any question, they should be set as unmerged matches.
Also, unless it is a very old merge proposal in which no action has been taken, the two profile managers involved should be the ones to make the determination.
I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm. If you find that you are especially interested in merges, etc., you may want to become an arborist eventually.
