Asahel II "Asa" Wilmot was born 6 August 1752 at Cheshire, New Haven, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America,^[1] died aft April 6, 1829 likely in Connecticut, son of Asa Wilmot (1716- 1774) and Sarah (Johnson) Wilmot (1716-1804); married 10 Jan 1776 at Cheshire, New Haven County, Connecticut to Esther Curtiss,^[2] born 10 Jan 1757 at New Haven County, Connecticut, died aft 16 April 1829, daughter of Thomas Curtiss (1729–1776) and Esther (Benham) Curtis (1730–1802); burial details unknown.
