Biography
Charles was born about 1677. He was the son of Robert Willimott and Elizabeth Eardley.[1]
He was Rector of Kirk Langley, Derbyshire, from 4 June 1706 until his death on 2 September 1724.[2]
He married Bridget Blundell at Derby on 21 January 1717/18.[3][4]
Charles Wilmot of Kirk Langley, Derbyshire, made his last will on 19 October 1720 reciting his marriage settlement dated 20 January 1717/18 which appointed Nicholas Charnels of Snarestone, Leicestershire, and Benjamin Blundell junior of Derby trustees, and making his wife Bridget sole executrix and beneficiary. The will was proved at Derby on 2 October 1724 by his widow Bridget, who was charged with the tuition and education of Robert Wilmot, natural and lawful son of the deceased, born after the date of the will.[5]
