Franklin Ernest Williamson, 66, of Elaine, Ark., formerly of Huffman, Ark., died Friday, June 9, 2000 in Enid, Okla.
Born June 20, 1933, in Huffman, Ark., he was the son of the late Blan H. Williamson and Reba Millay Williamson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Perry Williamson, and a brother, Blan Williamson, Jr.
He attended school in Cooter, Mo., with the class of 1953, and was a retired farmer.
Mr. Williamson leaves his wife, Elizabeth Williamson, of Elaine; Three sons: Jimmy Williamson and Joe Williamson of Greenwood, Miss., and Brewer Huber of BB, Ark.; Two daughters: Gail Vaden of Searcy, Ark., and Donna Faulkner of Elaine; Three brothers: Ashlin Williamson and John Williamson of Elaine and Harold Williamson of rural Steele, Mo.; One sister, Dorothy Harper, of Cooter; Fourteen grandchildren; and Two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Williamson were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2000, at the Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine with Rev. Harold Danley officiating.
Burial was at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in West Helena, Ark., with The Roller Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were John David Harper, Tommy Cravens, Kenny Jones, Bruce Harper, Michael Cravens, Richard Williamson, Josh Williamson and Ricky Williamson, Jr.
