John Williamson was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
John Williamson has Irish ancestors.
John was born in 1870, the son of Irish immigrant Thomas Williamson (1837-1909) and Jane Catherine Drysdale (1860-1916). [1]
In 1897, in Victoria, John married Anne "Annie" Law (1867-1932). [2]

- Thomas Douglas "Douglas" Williamson (1898–1983)
- James Alexander "Alec" Williamson (1901–1965)
- Margaret Annie Williamson (1902–1933)
- Jane Hazel "Jean" Williamson (1905–1969).
In 1909 John Drysdale Williamson (Farmer) and Annie Williamson (Home Duties) lived in Cheviot, Yea, Victoria. [3]
John passed away in 1925. [4] The death was registered at Yea.

- WILLIAMSON.—On the 21st October, at his late residence, Molesworth, John, beloved husband of Annie, and son of the late Thomas Williamson and Mrs. Williamson, late of Sunny Bank, Homewood, Yea, aged 55 years.
