Sarah (Williams) Monk is a part of US Black heritage.

Sarah Williams was born about 1857 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Friday Williams and Eliza Williams. In 1870 the family lived in Westbrooks Township, Sampson County, North Carolina.[1]

She married Hinton Cole Monk about 1877. In 1880 they were living in Westbrook Township, Sampson County, North Carolina with their two children Vara and John "Jack".[2]

She died on 21 January 1927, aged about 70, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The informant was her daughter, Eula Whitehead.[3]
