Biography

Samuel was born in 1851 in Tennessee. His parents were John Williams and Lousa Jane Hale. In 1860, he was living in Looney, Missouri.^[1] His siblings were

Samuel was married twice, first to Elisa, who had 3 children"

In 1870, Samuel was living in Swan, Missouri. with his parents and siblings. ^[2] In 1880, Samuel was married to Elisa and had one son: They were still living in Swan, Missouri.^[3] He married Dora Belle Conner in 1898. ^[4]

In 1900, Samuel was living in Swan Missouri with his second wife and 4 children. ^[5]Two from his first marriage and 2 from his second marriage.

Samuel went by the name Edmund for part of his life. In 1910, he was the head of household with his wife and 5 children. He was running the farm with the help of his adult sons. ^[6]

Samuel died in 1916 and is buried in Kissee Mills Cemetery, Taney, Missouri, near where he lived his whole life. ^[7]
