Biography

Edna was born in 1910. She was the daughter of Thomas Williams and Annie Moon. She passed away in 1986.

Not sure of the date of Edna Mae's death, she was my Great Aunt, sister to my Grandmother Margrette McCartney. Edna Mae was at my wedding in 2/16/85, and my sister Lane's wedding 10/85. Both Dad and Edna Mae were diagnosed with cancer around the same time, Dad colon cancer that metastasized to the liver and Edna Mae was diagnosed with Melanoma. So thankful, that the last couple of years of her life, I was able to spend time with her. Mudder and Edna Mae came for a visit and stayed the weekend with us when we lived in Beaufort, SC to attend a wedding of their sister Kathleen's daughter Gail who lived in Hilton Head, SC, that was in the spring of 1985. Edna passed away a month and a half before my father Robert Weathers, and he passed away 11/30/1986. Dad went with Mom to Gadsden to Edna Mae's funeral and came home sick and went into the hospital and never came out.
