Ichabod was born in 1786. Son of Daniel Williams and Amy Susan Burdick.
He was married seveval times ;
- 1st. 1805 Mary Maxson[1] d.1843, w/children;
- Jemina Williams 1806-1875
- Mary Williams 1808-1886
- Oscar Williams 1813-1890
- Parmelia Williams 1814
- Melvina Williams
- 2nd 18 Jul 1844 Tacy Babcock, no children died 1852
- 3rd. m.after 1852, Asenath ?????, her name appears on the 1855 & 1860 census.
His birthplace is mention as Rhode Island is his son Enoch's 1880 Census record.[2]
Posted on Ancestry by Readwoody, 9 Oct 2010; Ichabod Williams was born in Washington Co., RI and moved with his family to Rome, Oneida Co., NY in 1805. Ichabod was a veteran of the War of 1812. He is buried in Rathbunville Cemetery, Verona, Oneida Co., NY. Ichabod and first wife, Polly Maxson, had five children: Jemima Williams [(1806-07Feb1875), m. 1820 George Gardner (1800-27Oct1872), s. William Gardner and Nancy Graves]; Mary Williams [02May1808-06Mar1886]; Melvina Williams, Oscar Williams [(23Apr1813-04Dec1890), m. Mary M. Goodrich (21Sep1817-11May1910)] and Parmelia Williams [(1811-25Dec1891), m. 30Jan1834 Enoch Kenyon Crandall (27Jun1813-07Nov1882), s. Kenyon P. Crandall (29Jul1784-22Dec1866) and Mary Babcock (02May1787-08Feb1880)] .
