Myrtie married Boyd C Swiger February 1, 1914[3] and they made their home in Grant, West Virginia[4][5] until his death March 13, 1938. Boyd provided for the family by working in the oil fields building rigs and farming. Together they raised two children, Glenn Swiger[6][7][8] and Don Swiger.[9] Myrtie moved to Charlotte County, Florida where she died February 4, 1980 and is buried in Center Point Cemetery, Center Point, West Virginia.[10]
