She was the second wife of John Haywood (1755–1827)

Obituary:[1]
DIED, In Raleigh, on the 20th inst. of pulmonary affection, Mrs. Eliza Eagles Haywood, in the 51st year of her age. This highly respectable lady was the relict of the late venerable Treasurer of this State—was a native of Bertie county, and a daughter of Col. John Pugh Williams, a tried soldier of the Revolution.
