Biography
Prentice Williams, born 7 Jun 1773, was the sixth child of Daniel Williams and Esther Avery.
He married first, in 1808, Clarissa Irene Rogers [2 May 1779 - 2 Nov 1826, daughter of Rhoda (Leete) Rogers (1739-1812) and Noah Rogers III (1732-1810)]. At least 2 children may have come from this union, however this is uncertain, and should be verified from a credible source other than his online grave memorial:
- Daniel Rogers Williams (1811–1899)
- Jane Williams Selby (1823–1848)
Prentice Williams married second, in 1830, Amelia West (31 Mar 1786 - 3 Nov 1875).
The Prentice Williams family(ies) lived at Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
Col. Prentice Williams died 6 Sep 1869. His grave is in Stockbridge Cemetery, Stockbridge, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, USA [1].
