Biography
William Winston WILLIAMS was born 24 Jun 1813 in Shelby, Kentucky, United States. He was the son of John Williams and Unity Stanley.
He died 12 Apr 1891 in Westport, Jackson, Missouri, United States.
Son of John Williams Jr. & Unity (Stanley) Williams. Married Mildred Armstrong July 11, 1839 in Monroe County Missouri. According to obituary in Kansas City Times April 13, 1891, he was Superintendent of the Confederate Widows and Orphans Home. Mason for 54 years. He was an Educator, Mayor of Westport and a Judge in the Jackson County Administration. Gravestone has 1813-1889., probably an error in replacing a temporary marker.
